The Glen Each morning, Glen residents wake up to the lushness of a place away from the city’s bustle. Each evening, Glen residents’ return to the rustic community they call home. In solitude, Glen residents enjoy the beauty. With others, Glen residents share the wonder of Beverly Glen. Beverly Glen has much to offer – a beautiful friendly location, a lively mix of individuals and many outstanding community-based services. The Residents of Beverly Glen, Inc., a non-profit organization, serves over 600 households in the Glen by fostering relationships with local governments and organizations, serving as the prime liaison with the Glen’s Les River Community Center and Beverly Glen Play Group, as well as leading crucial advocacy initiatives on behalf of the Glen, its residents and local Glen businesses alike. The Residents of Beverly Glen, Inc. has two seats on the Bel-Air/Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council. As part of the “Glenite” family, individual and family participation enables The Residents of Beverly Glen’s creative programs, events and services to thrive. Every meeting is a chance for residents to discuss important community issues, improve the safety of the Glen, debate city policies, and meet fellow Glenites to form lasting relationships. The Residents of Beverly Glen invites all to become involved, and lend support and expertise by participating and serving on one of the many Residents of Beverly Glen’s committees. | Publications: The Glenite The Glenite is the Glen’s homegrown publication, edited and designed by the Glen’s residents. Since its inception in the 1950s, it has kept the community updated on local news, city policies, emergency preparedness, upcoming Glen events, new additions to the Glen family and local buzz about who’s back from exotic travels. Recipes, poems, children’s artwork, film reviews and more make each Glenite a special and watched for publication. The Glenite is distributed to all Glen residents as a service of Residents of Beverly Glen.
